Have you ever heard a speedrunner or commentator say that a trick is "frame-perfect" and wonder what that means or whether it's accurate or just short-hand for precise?  In Frame-Perfect Flower, you're given five frame-perfect inputs in a row to hit to help a flower grow.

There are two game modes, 30 frames per second and 60 frames per second, the most likely frame rates for a video game, depending on the era.  The higher the frame rate, the more accurate you have to be!

Plus, there's a timer running the whole time, so you can compete to get the best score.

Nice concept! A few things I noticed: The game gets easier if you use the frame count instead of the visual cue to know when to press a key. Sometimes the game would count the key as pressed again before it was released. Either way, it was fun trying to grow a frame-perfect flower.

I didn't get very far, but I think it wasn't that bad for a noob's first attempt.

Were you using the keyboard or a gamepad and if you were using a gamepad, what kind?

As for using the frame count, one of our testers found it easiest to use the sound cues, but everyone's different.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
