While I was playing Void Stranger, the topic of everyone's first Sokoban games came up and I mentioned Kwirk (aka Puzzle Boy), which I played and loved back when it was new and I was a small child. Little did I know I would dig deep into it and fall in love all over again, leading to my porting it to Picotron, leading to this project, which combines some of my favorite elements of Kwirk and Void Stranger together (and much more). Plus, it's got character customization, something I've always wanted to do.

The demo can be played above for free, but the full game is available paid, 40 levels vs the demo's 30. 

Please note that this game is not intended to be played in one sitting. Some of the late levels took playtesters over an hour. It starts easy but ramps up. The level order was the best I could figure from people's average experiences, but something that's easy for one person might be hard for someone else. If you feel frustrated, feel free to move onto another level or take a break. All the levels are unlocked in the full version and your completion is marked at the end of the level.

While the button mapping is flawed, in part because of limitations with Picotron, I hope that it will make things more accessible for some people (it can be played one-handed with a gamepad but only on the right side of the pad). I have been told window resizing could freeze gameplay, which is another Picotron issue. Expect an update if that gets fixed.

This game would not exist without Puzzle Boy and Void Stranger (obv).

Update 9/12/25: Bug caught and squashed

Update 10/15/25: You can now assign L Shift and R Shift for control mapping. Additionally, the demo has been expanded to 30 levels to match the PRGE demo.
